Defiant at heart, Kae hated being assigned books to read, and although she loved to pen lyrics and poetry, no way would she ever call herself a writer. Today, however, Kae pursues her dream to become a published novelist and content creator.Although her main job is working as a 3D Animator, Kae is also a barista, and twitch streamer. When she has a free moment, she loves to hyperfixate, play videogames, and pretend to garden. She and her husband live on the plains of Colorado and share a house with their fur-babies which includes 5 cats, 1 dog, 1 bunny, and 11 chickens. Kae can be found on facebook, instagram, tiktok, goodreads, and fable. She also sometimes writes on windmillways, and posts about her writing journey on medium.

A thirty-something, born and raised in Colorado, Kae Darling learned that nightmares can be gifts. Several of her works were inspired by dreams or concepts that kept her from falling asleep until she wrote them down.
An avid reader these days, Kae seeks out worlds with vivid imagery and heart-pulsing moments (whether that pulse comes from romance, fear, or heartbreak). After many years loudly pushing against it, she recently switched from physical books to ebooks to help reduce clutter in her home.When she is not busy reading, snacking, or sleeping, she can be found at her local comic shop or forcing cuddles upon her cats, dog, or husband.
